E-commerce has continued to experience a steep increase in mobile usage over the last few years. Saveur Bière realised that a sizeable part of revenue is lost due to unsatisfactory conversion rates on smartphones. bPol was approached as a long-term software development partner.
Building separate native applications was eliminated as a potential solution as it would require a download from users, decreasing the conversion further. Saveur Bière’s mobile experience was rebuilt using React, Redux, Redux-Saga and webpack. Several improvements that were introduced led to increased conversion rates. In order to establish online presence LaSante had to figure out a way of dealing with strict French regulations that limit what can be sold on e-commerce platforms. Orders must be approved by authorised medical staff and stored confidentially.
bPol migrated the initial e-commerce platform from Prestashop to a tailor-made Symfony platform. To tackle rigorous requirements a logistics system was built from scratch. new features and responsive design
Even though the customer's site was strong in usability and reliability, it has been many years since the last update. Platformaopon.pl needed modernization and a responsive interface, with particular emphasis on the mobile version, which was difficult to use and did not work well.
The old design has been completely replaced with a new version of the interface. We kept all the previous technological possibilities and created a much better product with some new useful features. We also took care of responsiveness in terms of smartphones and tablets. Transfer from Prestashop to Sylius
for an even better user experience
Betafence regularly provides innovative solutions to its clients. When the company decided to introduce a dedicated calculator to its store that allows users to conveniently calculate the price of the fence, it turned out that the e-commerce solutions offered by the Presta platform (where e-shop was developed) do not allow for use of custom solutions. It was necessary to use other software and move all infrastructure to a new, more functional ecosystem.
To expand the possibilities of personalizing services, we decided to transfer the store from Prestashop. We have studied the client's needs in order to choose a tool that will meet their expectations. The choice fell on the Sylius platform. The software had everything that allowed the development of the Betafence store with new functions. bPol created an advanced configurator, which enables users to design their fences by drawing them on Google Maps. This unique tool allows you to measure the real distance from the map, calculate the number of panels needed and determine the estimated price. Badly-designed architecture may not reveal its gaps and bugs at the beginning of the platform's operation. Unfortunately, ill-considered decisions sooner or later come to light as the company grows. This was the case with Dood. The client needed new features and integrations, as well as innovative CMS solutions and a refreshed UI. The API was so badly written that we had to rewrite it from scratch, giving Dood a new life and an even better future.
We carefully studied the client's needs to prepare almost every element of the platform from scratch. Thanks to this, Dood meets all the current market requirements, but is also ready to implement new solutions in the future. We have added many new features, such as integration with cash registers, printers and solutions related to deliveries.
